About the event

All VCU alumni, students, faculty, staff, and friends are invited to attend the Gay Alliance of Students 50th Anniversary events.

What does it mean to hold both queerness and faith at the center of your identity? This event explores the rich, complex and deeply personal intersections of LGBTQ+ identity and spirituality. Through storytelling, reflection and dialogue, we’ll create space to examine how faith traditions can both challenge and affirm queer lives — and how LGBTQ+ individuals are reshaping spiritual communities in powerful ways. All VCU alumni, students, friends and family are invited to register for the events.

Whether you identify as religious, spiritual, questioning or simply curious, this gathering invites you into an honest and inclusive conversation about belonging, healing, resistance and joy at the crossroads of queerness and faith.
