There is a groundswell of need for Food Programs right now.
The following opportunities are focused on supporting these programs.
VOLUNTEER AT FOOD PANTRY
In-person at Belmont
Volunteer on Thursdays or Fridays at a food pantry for the South Richmond Community (Belmont Community Resource Services). Opportunities for rides.
Hundreds of volunteers from United Methodist Churches around the greater-Richmond area and VCU have been working hard to care for their communities. We want to stop to give care for them. The following opportunities have been created from a collaboration with VCU Social Work interns and The Pace Center.
The COVID Missions Task Force for the UMC Richmond District is creating a space where volunteers can come together and express how they are feeling as it relates to volunteering under the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic. Any and all volunteers are welcome to participate in both the virtual reflection via zoom.
